L.A. BanksL.A. BANKS

NJRW's 2008 Special Event will feature the multi-talented, multi-published L.A. Banks offering three mini-workshops.

Part I--Paranormal World Building: This workshop element will focus on how to develop a credible back story, one that encompasses the characters and the plot while drawing readers into willing suspension of disbelief.

Part II--Writing Cross Genres/Cross Cultural: This workshop element will focus on how to be dexterous and easily incorporate diversity into your work as well as into your writing portfolio.

Part III--Building a Sustainable Writing Career: This workshop element will focus on growing your career over time in a steady, consistent manner that will one day allow you to write full time.

L.A. Banks is a NY Times Best-selling author with over 30 published novels and 10 novellas, including the twelve book Vampire Huntress Legends series published by St. Martin's Press. Bad Blood, her new werewolf series from St. Martin’s, debuts in April. Under various pseudonyms, Banks writes in a variety of genres from romance to crime thrillers to paranormal. She lives and works as a full-time author in Philadelphia and is a member of RWA and VFRW.
